About
As an artist, I explore the depths of human existence, drawing inspiration from anthropological study, mythology, and dream recording. My work seeks to explore myth creation, and interpretation as a method for personal metamorphosis.
Embracing methodologies of ethnography, I dive into cultural expressions of mythology, ritualism, and storytelling. This forms a fundamental pillar of my artistic approach, offering me a lens through which to study and understand the shared threads that weave through current perceptions of the ancient, storytelling, and mythology.
I intend to show landscapes of the subconscious mind and dive into the visual language of dreams, bridging the gap between the conscious and unconscious, and inviting viewers to reflect on the shared symbolism and emotions that resonate across diverse backgrounds. I seek to evoke personal intuition and believe that humans can create narratives that express our deepest hopes, fears, and aspirations.
In my artistic practice, I aim to create a space for dialogue and contemplation, through the interplay of symbolism, abstraction, and visual storytelling.
